What to Bring / What to Wear
We recommend you wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor exercise and close-toed shoes (mandatory). We encourage our guests to bring a hat or bandana to wear underneath the helmet for comfort/hygiene. It's always a good idea to bring a waterproof jacket or a warm sweater as the mountain weather can change quickly - even on sunny days!
Have your own gear? You're welcome to use your own bike/helmet on the tour. It's also a good idea to pack sunscreen, a small snack and your camera!
We ask that you please bring your own reusable water bottle - we're working to reduce plastic waste. Did you know that Whistler has some of the cleanest and freshest tap water in the world? Our alpine-fresh water supply comes from beautiful Rainbow Lake which is fed by ancient glaciers. There are water fountains along the Valley Trail Network if you need to refill your bottle along the way.
However, if you require, bottled water is available for purchase at our Village Office.

“E-Bike Valley Trail Tour Wow! What a blast! It’s totally cheating but loads of fun. This is a great way for guests to see the valley and all the nice lakes and parks while not exerting themselves… I enjoyed the tour immensely and Matt was a really fun guide. It would also be good where ability of fitness may be a dividing factor for families wanting to get everyone on a bike, rent a couple e-bikes to help the weaker cyclists in the family! If you haven’t tried one these electric bikes, you really should.”
